having good lights is a minimum for safety . factory lights are lacking at times . so upgrades of ones lights is prudent and a safety enhancement . as I ride it seems in the dark quite a bit ,having good lights is peace of mind ... and I ride slower .
you can actually carry a knife like the one Tabasco posted a photo of , its legal in Texas.

Now thats a setup!

I do have a question for you, whats that windshield setup. I spy an extra bracket/Xbrace behind the screen? Is that to stop the shakes?
hi,
the windsheild is a touratech screen, what you see behind it is the touratech screen holder thats fully adjustable to lift it up and down and tilt backwards and forwards

I sure would like to add another set of lights to the bike... It would probably look really dumb, but where we ride it's NO fashion show. We are 200+ miles out in the wilderness. When its as dark as a cave, I just can't seem to get "enough" light ever ! ! Ive already experienced a few occasions with the lights I currently have installed, that I believe they have saved my life 2-3 times. More light out in the back country cant be a bad thing.

-The top photo are the XL80

-The bottom are the LP4

Both are always my preferred company, Baja Designs...

I have a set of Baja Squadron driving lights along with a light bar. They are set up with a high beam trigger. They run at 20% when my lights are on low beam and then go to 100% when my lights are on high beam. They work fantastic. I have been thinking about getting another set of smaller Baja and figuring out a way to set them up with a turn signal trigger so they only come on when I put on my turn signal so they would be like cornering lights.
