Quick question regarding colour options for a 2nd Gen S10

basically was there a white option?

still looking for the right S10 to come up for sale, really like the look of a white with the red decals, never seen a 2nd gen in white, only on a gen 1 bike.

Welcome from Texas. Currently, in the US anyway, the color option is Ceramic Ice. . . . a.k.a. white. You could add red striping in whatever style you like. (which is the path I would take) And, the current model has gorgeous blue rims. The one and only other white was the '13 model year. (as you know). I always like that one 'cuz I had an '81 Seca with a similar scheme. The yellow/black that the nugget loving Mr. monk has is the 60th Anniversary Edition. I know that it very available in Australia, and as an ES. It's not available in the US as an ES though. I've heard many complaints that the color options are limited in the UK. . . . don't know why. I am fortunate enough to have a '17 Cobalt Blue. Good luck with your search.

Have you considered buying the best deal gen #2 you can find and then having it custom painted ?
I’m still trying to work out if a 2nd Gen Tenere is worth the extra money against a 1st Gen, Don’t have the biggest budget so have to be careful.
can’t justify wasting money on getting a bike painted rather spend the money on a newer, less milage bike

The following is just my opinion: if you are going to keep the bike until you run the wheels off. . . . yes. If you plan on just taking a trip or two, then re-selling it. . . . then probably not. The Gen II motor is more "refined/smoother". But, more importantly, it has factory cruise control. I never thought I would use it much. . . . I was wrong. I use it daily. I would further recommend an ES, but if funds are tight, getting an ES is not critical. But, if you can swing the ES, it would be worth it over the years. On this bike, mileage is not a real important factor. eemsreno has over 226K miles on his, and he's still riding it. Take your time on the search, there are good deals out there, but I wouldn't let color be a determining factor.

White S10 gen2s were available as a UK colour choice, but with black decals, back in 2014/5. IIRC they were ES/ZE bikes.

You should expect to pay £6-8k dependent on condition IMHO. Be patient, if that's what you want - they come to the market occasionally.

My first 2014 was matte grey.....which I REALLY didnt care for.
I still had my 2013 white Ten...so...a panel/tank/fender swapectomy was performed before sellin the 13

...& I wanted sumthin a bit different.... hence the yello decals (added earlier to the 2013

Now.. for me 10#3 is a blue 2014
A guy in DFW owns the (nowgrey) 2013
Last I saw of the white 2014 was at a DFW area bike shop...prob bought thru auction. I traded it at Ride Now Austin20191116_123405.jpg20191018_181442.jpg
