Man! that must have been fun! Wish it weren't a 3-day ride for me just to get to Ouray. DirtDad... check yer headlights. Looks like your right-side bulb is out.

It was out. Not sure for how long. Maybe that's why things were so dark in Indianapolis that morning.

New h7 installed about 30 minutes ago.

Home about 6 CT and toy hauler mostly unloaded at 8. (Ténéré and generator safely in garage!)

Original plan had me leaving Ouray for Idaho and a few weeks there. Family stuff has me back in boring Iowa. So pulling the toy hauler 2010 miles @ 12 Mpg to ride under 500 (although a really good 400+) is questionable.

Now that said had a great time with the Dirt and MAK families, Kelly, and Kevin.

I think altitude sickness stopped me from finishing the ride with Jax, Gunner, and Doug. But still a great day! Hell to start feeling acclimated to the altitude just to leave. That was followed by the great Durango to Telluride loop.

Since the Wrecker Checker will be retired next year I challenged Bob (part of the Romney planning team with John) to pick a place and week (to include a weekend for the working) for next year. I also promised Gunner I would bring the big cooler since he likes his beer on ice!

See you next year.

The family vacation was great but dang, I missed a good rally!
You really did miss a good one. Great to see everyone again and meet some new friends. DM enjoyed the weekend and finally putting faces to the people she's heard about for years.

Yes, Gunner, she had no problem Tenere stickers on her BMW...multiple ones.

Getting to know the Utah crew was a lot of fun. Saturday night's dinner conversation lead by heberhog was a unique experience. Thanks, Kelly...you're a fun guy to have around.

Few of mine.

Leaving Sunday morning

Thanks everyone who attended. DM and I really enjoyed it. Special thanks to eemsreno for taking me out and showing me around. Much appreciated, even if I didn't survive too long that day.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the next "Official" Tenere rally.
