If you like, I'm pretty sure I still have all my Rally info from 2013. I can provide you with the owners names, Etc, etc. Very nice folks.I don't live in Colorado but I can call the KOA and see about setting aside some tent areas. someone else will have to plan the rides etc as this will be a new experience for me riding there!
How many people are in? If reserving at KOA it should be done as soon as possible. It looks like some of their tent sites are already reserved. You can count me in. Riding bike there and tent camping.
i called and left a message. the voice message stated that they aren't open til may so hopefully they will call me back.
I think simple is better, let’s not make this rally like we are on GolwingsDates look good to me. I can get away after the 24th. How big of an event are we shooting for? Do you guys want raffles, catered meals, hotels, and the works? Or is this a simple get together, camp and bring your own stuff? I’m about 8 hrs away so hard to organize for me. Plus I’ve never attended a ride/rally so don’t really know what to expect.
Did you mean “FIRST” post? I can get a new thread started for that...Count me in, maybe we can get a list going on a new "fist post"? Maybe a moderator can help us do that ?

I can see that it would be a ton of work. I would be happy with a spot to pitch my 2 man tent, meet some people with a passion for like bikes and riding/seeing somewhere I have never been.Karson and I worked on the 2013 Rally for about six/eight months https://www.yamahasupertenere.com/index.php?threads/the-big-colorado-2013-summer-gathering.5637/ It was a ton of work. The Tenere gathering we just got back from in Tellico, TN was nothing fancy, and was a blast. Great to see folks show up with common interest and ride all day.

It does pain me a bit to pay $40 a night to pitch a 4x6 tent. If the campground is nice, has showers and reasonable laundry and makes the experience enjoyable for a group the fee is worth it. If we could pitch two tents per site and half the cost even better.
I can see why the original poster deleted his post. Organizing such an event can be overwhelming.
