Quick check in to say I am finally home as of last night. Thanks to everyone for a great time. Memories that will not be forgotten. Took the small roads back to Idaho from the UP. 12 across S. Dakota is actually really nice. Red Lodge was having a rally and there were a 1000 HD's there. Had to time the ride over Beartooth so that I didn't get caught up in their speeds (walking on the hairpins). Ran across another forum member in Cooke City. From NYC and was traveling all over. He ran across George in Glacier a day or so earlier. S10's represent!

I admire you all, I thought you were all nuts, now I think I'm the one who's nuts for not going.

Has limey arrived yet?

Limey is still on the road. Just leaving Prince of Wales island. What a trip. Might be home in a week or two.

I thought you're just around the corner, it's not the case. I was thinking of having a few Teneres for your arrival, but that would make us look bad :) have a safe and fun ride home.

Pheeew…finally made it back to Tampa late yesterday morning after 36 days on the road. I cut a few things out of the back end of the trip that I wanted to do because I was simply beat after spending a couple days in Moab and booked it on home. Overall though, the trip covered just over 12,000 miles, 18 States, 4 Canadian Provinces, I crossed into the Arctic Circle and I took over 900 pictures.

Great photo's!

I noticed there's one of me in the Tenere lineup taking a photo from the other end, so here's a photo of me taking a photo of you!

:))

I count 10 fast ones and 8 slow ones ::013::
Not sure what the final count was since several had come and gone before this picture was taken. Others came in later as well.

A good showing in any case of both Black and Blue!!

Ryan-Dog ... good to hear from you. You must be busy sucking heat out of the ground. Let's be careful out there. Thanks again for your contribution to my mighty fine wind deflectors. ::008:: R

I'm still on the road just south of Calgary meeting up with the wife on Monday south of the border. A few pictures of the last day. Blue maybe faster but they don't like to get dirty.

Jack and Marshall (you know that courageous dude from Alabama who had the balls to show up at the rally BBQ on his BWW GSA...) made it back after checking out Prudhoe Bay and BC. While crossing the Yukon we ran into a brown mommy bear and her 2 cubs roadside... ok there is our chance for a few great pics... let keep Thelma the Ténéré at a safe distance and since the Beemer was expendable, Marshall took it a lot closer then me...scary close (15 feet away)....we managed to escape before being turned into lunch... a few days later we showed the pics to friends and they advised that cute bear was actually a grizzly !! ???
