You can add me to the fork seals list...both of 'em. I didn't get boots as I'd wanted but I took good care (best I could anyway) of the forks up and back on the Dalton Friday-Sunday as advised (treacherous road btw). They seemed fine and then on the 500 miles from Fairbanks to Haines Junction, YK they started leaking. The good news is I was riding through Whitehorse today on my way to Watson Lake anyway. I'll stop at YY and hope they can get me in. Otherwise, I'll have to stay there until they can.

Dalton photos and report in my blog, below.

Thanks for everything to the organizing guys. Had and am having a great time and wouldn't have been here without the doins. I passed 6.5K miles yesterday on this adventure and that finally puts me past the halfway point of this road trip. :)

I carried those cleaners, also had the fork protectors so no problems.

Sharon and I had flawless performances. Did lube the shifter pivots when we got home, but nothing I would call an issue. Bikes are at about 7 and 16 k miles total, and the round trip came in at about 6500 miles.

Back in Victoria this afternoon. 13,000 km no problems other than bike falling over while parked in whitehorse snapped off windshield mounts.
Lots of good memories of the people and sights.
Thanks very much to all who organized and took the time to share with us. Looking forward to connecting again somewhere next year.
Doug

I made it home about 2:30 this afternoon. 8,600+ miles and almost that many smiles, despite all the road construction, rain and even some serious hail yesterday. Great trip and great event and a great bunch of people!!!!

Welcome home, Rod ... about time you cleaned that damn bike up a little. ::025:: And welcome home everyone. Thank you all for coming to Whitehorse. I know it was a major endeavour for most of you. It's a long way to travel and a long time to be away from home. Your efforts are acknowledged and appreciated. There ain't no Rally unless people actually show up, so you all made it happen.

You might know we are having some splendiferous weather right now. In recognition of your efforts, I will lock myself inside and my ample @$$ will not touch a motorcycle seat until it's all over .... probably ... almost certainly ... mostly. O:) >:D

Anyway, thanks again for your efforts to get up here. I think next year the Rally should be held much closer to home for most of you ... how about Teslin ???? ::008:: R

We need to be starting a new thread on just this very subject. Teslin might work, but I'm thinking maybe someplace a LOT closer to home - maybe even COLORADO!!

I think you misspelled "Texas", Rem. I had a blast, and can't remember if I've checked in on this thread...I've been home a week after 37 days and 11,110 miles on the road, and every morning I still get the compulshion to go strap some stuff to the bike and go for a ride! Seriously, my 2-day ride circle includes Moab, Missouri, southern Colorado, and Arkansas...and of course Texas! Hope to see you at the next one.

Torque just left Helena this morning on his way to the Beartooth and Cody. He has just over 13,000 miles on this trip and still has at least 2,000 to get home to Alabama.

Pheeew…finally made it back to Tampa late yesterday morning after 36 days on the road. I cut a few things out of the back end of the trip that I wanted to do because I was simply beat after spending a couple days in Moab and booked it on home. Overall though, the trip covered just over 12,000 miles, 18 States, 4 Canadian Provinces, I crossed into the Arctic Circle and I took over 900 pictures.
