right,

going to get mine off today for powder coating its stinking, BLACK before anybody says anything lol.

i,m thinking first while on side stand loosen the 2 nuts on the 2 bolts slighty just to make sure they will come off and not seized up , then pull the 2 springs off with spring puller then go back to the bolts, what do you guys think is that about right

Springs will be a bit easier to get off with the centre stand up Rob - if you've not already done this

Hi Rob,

thanks for that i did it with bike on side stand, i was worried about pulling the spring off the centre stand while the bike was up right on the centre stand, i thought if i pulled the spring off while it was up on the centre stand the bike might fall
