Had it since Tuesday and it only has 10 miles on it. Don't know what to do, wife and I are on anti-biotics for "walking pneumonia" :'( and we have a 6 day old little girl to take care of ;D . I suppose I will find some time in the coming week. I hope all of you have your bikes and are enjoying the heck out of them.

Sorry to hear that you're sick. You have a six-day old little girl! Boy, do I remember those days. My younges is just now turning 15 in a month and she is my motorcycle buddy. Has been on the bike for every ride so far except for the initial one - didn't want her to be a guniea pig on the balance issue. She has even helped put on the crash bars and other farkles.

Hope you get well. I'm sure that little one will grow up and love motorcycles like mine does. Also have two boys that are 21 who ride Suzuki and a Ducati. Enjoy her and your bike!

Thats when we realize that health means more than bikes. Get well soon, and I have not been riding the bike I don't yet have so don't feel too badly.

Thanks for the well wishes. Trying to enjoy the baby but afraid to get her sick. That is the worst part. The Tenere can wait for a bit although I couldn't resist a few ergonomic adjustments. My 2.5 YO already loves motorcycles and has had several short Multistrada/WR450/DR650/King Quad rides and is anxious for daddy to take her for a neighborhood spin on the Tenere. She has also been to 3 WSBK races. Pretty good for a little girl. I am sure her baby sister will get into the sport as well.

Clem, of all people around here you should have been one of the first to get the Tenere. Hopefully it will be here for the weekend. Safe riding everyone!

I got you beat. Had mine since Saturday and only about 15 miles (home from the dealer). Wife got home from the hospital Sunday after her colon surgery and we have hardly left the house since. I have managed about 2-3 hours of farkle time though.

While I managed to get time in last weekend on the way home from pick up, and more on Sunday, it has rained, hailed, blowed, and everything else since. Too miserable to ride.

There will be plenty of time to ride. rest up and get better so you can actually enjoy it: you don't have to, you only want to, so make it good when you do.

I don't ride when tired, and I've gone weeks without riding as I didn't trust my judgement as a rider due to fatigue. Beats the hospital or the morgue. So again, ride when well and in good enough shape to enjoy it.

Probably not what anyone wants to hear, but its true.

Congrats on both of your new babies!! :) The S10 will make an exceptional diaper go-getter. When my twins needed nappies, my ST1300 excelled at that task. :)

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
