Not my idea, but figured I'd share cause it works great.

4oz mason jar, 5/16" copper refrigerator pipe, tiki torch wick, jb-weld and a few washers.

Rigged up a table/wind blocker out of aluminum sheet. Folds up nicely

Punched a couple of holes in the larger cup to attach dogchain as a hanger. Cook with the large cup, transfer to the small cup to sip and eat out of.

The main advantage of this thing is fueling.
I can get Heet at any gas station for about 3 bucks.
The only downside is it burns Methyl. Which is toxic. So... I don't inhale it.
I use about 2 ounces of fuel to boil water, and 4 ounces to make ramen.

I ordered a camping stove, but will probably just stick with this.
Might try to find a different epoxy that can withstand the heat a little better.
jars are $1, copper tube is $3/ft, and wicks are a few bucks.
Ill try to snag a video of it running.

I've been looking for a small stainless steel jar that has a removable top but havent found anything. This one, the glass base gets pretty warm, but it seems to be able to handle it.
The fuel is HEET gasline antifreeze. Its methyl alcohol which gives off toxic fumes, so be careful.

Reworked my stove.
Didnt really like having a glass jar in my luggage, and couldnt find a decent jar that would seal, and be easy to fill and drain and use and so on.
So, came up with this.

As simple as it gets. Its a beanie weenie jar, with holes around the perimeter. Thats it. I was able to make a pot stand to keep the flame from snuffing itsself out.
Tried it today, Was able to cook noodles in 7 minutes and used maybe an ounce of fluid.
Pumped! Again, everything nests together, to keep the pack size down.
