I am not a cpap user so maybe I do not understand. why would this not work

Buy another MC sealed battery or sealed but larger. Put the OTHER side of the tender cable on it. Positive side is the exposed side of the plug. When you leave home you put it in a saddle bag and plug it into the bikes battery tender cable. When you get to the camp ground it is fully charged.

When ready to go to bed, take it out of the bike and plug into the cpap. Sleep.

Next morning when you are ready to ride for a few hours, put it back into the saddlebag, plug it in, and ride. The full bike battery starts the bike and the bike charges the cpap battery.

Repeat the sleep process after the ride.
This is my plan, I just need to convert a round DC jack from the machine to a tender fitting as an adapter to power my res-med 10. I want to put a YTZ -12? upsized form the 10 in my bike and will likely use the stock size 10 to power my machine while camping. Romney will be the true test. I usually only use it for 2-3 hours and then snooze a little without it and then put it back on for another couple hours before I get up. Been stuffy so it wakes me up trying to breathe through one nostril. Just started using it for the past month after diagnosis.

Thanks for doing all the math, Erik. I'm familiar with 12v solar systems so already knew it, but it is easily understood the way you wrote it out.
I was sure the lithium ion batteries would be enough (but I didn't go look at mine).
The deep discharge batteries are ideal.
Looks like there's going to be a lot of ADV trailers around!

Reviving old thread!
I'm a CPAP user and new Tenere owner.
I've run my CPAP all night off my G650 GS Battery. POWERLET to cigarettes lighter to 12v cord I bought from CPAP company.
Bike fires right up in morning. I did carry an antigravity jump pack just in case.
Is there any reason to think this same setup won't work on tenere?
I noticed in manual it says not to use power supply when bike is off

If your CPAP worked in this manner for the G650GS, it will probably be a low enough draw that the Super Tenere's battery will handle it. However, you're the guinea pig. Do be aware that you will want to install some other power plug to plug your CPAP into. The factory cig lighter outlet on the Super Ten is only fused for 3 amps and is not hot when the bike is off. It's intended to be used for phone charging or GPS power, not the higher draw of other devices like a CPAP.

Many people use a battery tender or other fused SAE pig tail off the battery, then adapters as needed to your device power cord. Using a power supply while the bike is off can lead to a dead battery, thus the caution in the manual.

Why not jump the cpap and recharge it while riding?
The jump start battery doesn't have the mA hours to run the CPAP all night, in most cases.

As mentioned in previous posts, it's important to know what the draw of your device is before you start looking at battery options and charging platforms.

I currently camp with a Transend CPAP that has a oem 2 day battery. It wasn't cheap, but the Transend 2 day bettery was cheaper than the 40 Ah battery I would have needed for the old CPAP that drew 60 watts. Imagine running a 60 watt light bulb off your Super Ten battery with the bike off, for 8 hours.

Ok here is my plan.
heavy duty SAE or battery leads, suppose I can run a tender off that.
Sae to to cigarette lighter. I tested my CPAP quickly and it works. I'll test it in backyard this week.
Finally I'll get an SAE to coax to run my heated gear.
I'll never need to have more than one of those hook d up at a time, so I think I'm covered.

Just got back from 41 day trip to Alaska and I used a antigravity XP-10 charged from my side bag and Transcend mine CPAP. Also used it to jump the bike when I left the lights on.

My BiL is some kind of electronics genius and tells me that my settings have a huge effect on how much juice the device uses. My BiPAP is set to 24 in / 18 out, so I use a LOT more juice than most. IIRC, he said I'd need something like 65 Ah.

I've been reading threads all over the internet about CPAP camping in hopes to find an affordable solution. This is as good of info as I've found anywhere, thanks guys.

I don't camp anymore but I do have sleep apnea and a SuperTenere :).
I've slept on my stomach for as long as I can remember and I knew a CPAP wasn't going to work or did I want to try to make it work. I did the sleep study which was just horrible for me and was diagnosed with mlid to severe apnea. How they came up with that is beyond me, I don't think I fell asleep for more than 30mins.

My ENT suggested a dental appliance or oral device https://aadsm.org/oral_appliance_therapy.php

My wife tells me it works, I've noticed a difference too. I've been using it for 5yrs or so. This could work for some and it's compact and would be perfect for camping.

Basically you have two dental trays, an upper and lower, they are joined by a bridge that shifts your lower jaw fwd and when in your mouth your jaws are locked in position to keep your airway open so the muscles, when they do relax, do not cut airflow. They are also adjustable.
