I collected my blue/silver XT1200Z this afternoon - the ride home was ;D ;D ;D

Having :p :p :p after her for the past 12 months - she now sits in my garage - ready for her first sunday ride-out this weekend and next European Tour with my www.wofters.com friends.

My dealer has submitted my entry form for the Ténéré Experience in Wales :) and although I have some trepidation ??? about off-road riding at my age - it will just have to be done.... >:D

Having had a test ride just a few weeks ago - I think I'll also submit an entry form for the Nick Sanders adventure event...

PS...Altrider protection bars are on order - a picture of my bike in the Scottish Highlands - will be posted as soon as I have one to share.

I think congratulations are in order!

Judging from the website the Ténéré Experience looks to be a reasonably mellow affair, and I wouldn't mind having a go myself -- though having had my bike since last July I guess there's no chance of me getting Yamaha to pay.

Photos of the 1200 in the Highlands are most definitely required. Some of my favourite riding roads anywhere ... particularly the coast round to Gairloch and then north from Ullapool. Must get back soon.

Congratulations! You will understand, of course, that I am now insanely jealous of you >:D

Looking forward to pictures and ride reports...
