My Tom Tom finally gave up towards the end of my Picos trip, so am looking for options to replace it. Ideally I’d like to use an app via my phone and have only one device on my bars/dash. I see and hear lots of positive things about Calimoto and the yearly subscription to include worldwide maps is very reasonable.

I prefer to tell a sat nav the route I want to take, using multiple waypoints, but don’t want to stop at every waypoint to mark it as done, as google maps seems to require.

Anyone used, used Calimoto? Thoughts please?

I don't use Calimoto, but I will throw in a plug for Rever. One feature I've found on it that makes it ideal for me is that you can follow a route as a track, rather than a turn by turn route with multiple waypoints (although Rever also allows that option). With the track, your route appears on the screen as a blue line, but you don't interact with it, and if you go off the track it doesn't try to reroute you. You can always see your original planned route, so if you get off it (like if you had to detour around a traffic jam) you can easily see the original route and navigate back to it. Unless I'm trying to navigate to a specific location in a city, when there might be a lot of turns where turn by turn directions would be helpful, I always use the track feature in Rever. There aren't any waypoints to miss.

Rever is also a subscription service. They have a monthly rate if you just want to try it out, and a yearly rate too.
