Are any discounts for members?
Hi TimLaw - nothing current or planned. We're keeping the 2014 price into 2015 despite cost increases from freight and domestic shipping companies, so I suppose we've already built the discount in. ;) The BUMOT systems are very competitively priced against other offerings, and (price aside) I think you'll be blown away by the materials, build quality, and attention to detail.

For those interested in a BUMOT system for your Tenere, the "busy season" is definitely starting to ramp up. While I have good stock currently and more on order, I am starting to run low on various size/color combinations. Here in the Northeast, it feels like we have about 51 more weeks of winter, but apparently there is this thing called "sunshine" elsewhere in the USA. If you are one of those lucky people that will be getting on your bike sooner than later, planning ahead for luggage would be highly recommended! There's nothing more frustrating (for either of us) when I get a call two weeks before your big trip asking for a luggage system that I don't have in stock and can't get fast enough.... :'(

Any questions or if you'd like to get your name on a system, please call (585) 310-ADVM or email us at info AT advmotorrad DOT com.

Thanks!

Just Picked up the Bumot system today. I actually live like 15 min away from Jason's shop so I got to see the system before I bought it. He also had the comparable Holan system in stock so I got to see them side by side. I went with Bumot in the end. The construction was top notch and I also bought the 3.5l tool box that integrates into the rack. I got everything cheaper than what the Holan system would have cost and then some. Now I just need my dang bike to put this stuff on!

My big two choices were Touratech Zega's and the Bumot. As it stands, the Bumot is the winner. I went to the ADV website to order and it says pre-order. Not sure if it is back ordered or what the wait time is?

Hey ejr10mm - great meeting up with you, and glad we could get your new S10 setup with a BUMOT system. Hopefully the weather will start cooperating and you can get your bike from the dealer soon!

Thanks again...

Hi TimLaw - glad to hear it, and I'm confident you made the right choice. ::008:: I shot you an email as well, but I haven't had a free second yet to get the online inventory updated...despite it showing "Pre-Order", we do have systems (with toolboxes) in stock. I should be able to get stock updated online this weekend, but we currently have 40L systems in both silver and black, and the 45L system in silver (out of stock in 45L black). I've got more systems in all sizes and colors on order with Bulgaria expected to arrive in late April, but hopefully we can get you setup sooner!

Thanks...

For those looking for more real world, practical feedback on the BUMOT system, fellow member EdOnS10 has written a very thorough and detailed review. Definitely worth a read if you are still considering your options.

Hi guys - inventory is updated on our site as of today, and we have systems in stock and ready to ship. We also have quite a few more Super Tenere systems coming from Bulgaria in May, so if you don't see the specific size/color combo in stock currently, odds are good we will have it shortly.

Any questions, or if I can help you get your bike setup with one of BUMOT's kick-ass luggage systems, please let me know.

Thanks!

Hi guys - for those that haven't already outfitted their bike with luggage for this season, we still have some stock left of the BUMOT pannier systems for all 2012+ ES and non-ES bikes. Currently we have 40L cases in silver, and 45L cases in silver or black. The 40L cases in black are on order and should arrive towards the end of the July. We also have the optional rack-mounted toolbox in stock (keyed to match your panniers), as well as many BUMOT accessories.

Feel free to call the shop at (585) 310-ADVM and I'd be happy to help you get setup!

Thanks...

Hi satdishes - pretty thin at the moment. I think I have one or two 25L top cases in stock in black, but am cleaned out of the larger 41L cases. I should have more top cases coming in at the end of the July...let me know size and color and I can confirm availability.

Thanks!

41 liter black, so it matches the boxes I already got from you. Let me know when it's in and I will get one and give you key code

Hi guys - been awhile since I've had a chance to update this thread, but wanted to post some exciting new info!

ADV Motorrad is very excited to announce that we now have the new BUMOT Defender series pannier systems and top cases available! BUMOT has taken their highly popular standard pannier system and added some new features and updates based on your feedback.
  • A new stainless steel quick release mechanism that allows the case to be removed from or installed on the bike quickly without needing to unlock or open the pannier
  • New BUMOT-designed and built stainless steel latches
  • Low profile polyamide nylon lid strap brackets (tested to support 200+ pounds each) for better pillion comfort and less square edges if the bike goes over
  • 3M reflective logo decals for safety
  • A new smooth powdercoat finish for better decal adhesion, with a new "Frozen Gray" color option in addition to black and silver
Of course, most of the features that have made BUMOT the best choice for ADVriders looking for truly "adventure-ready" panniers haven't changed:
  • 2mm aluminum construction, with a doubled-material bottom edge that gives a 4mm protective "ring" all the way around the bottom of the pannier
  • Outside-edge hinged lid with friction hinges - let go of the lid and it stays put, and it makes a perfect table to hold items when loading up
  • Fully powdercoated inside and out at no charge
  • All locks are keyed to match and pre-installed at no charge
  • All pannier mounts (to install the panniers to the bike) are pre-installed at no charge - no drilling required, just bolt on the racks, hang the bags, and go!
We have very limited stock of specific applications of the new Defender series pannier systems, and slightly better stock of the matching Defender top cases. Please refer to our website for current stock of each bike application, size, and finish.

And of course....pannier porn.... :D

As always, please feel free to email us at info AT advmotorrad DOT com or call the shop at (585) 310-ADVM with any questions or to place an order.

Thanks!

Hey Bryn, thanks for the feedback - are you using the default dark gray theme or one of the two with a white background? The yellow shows up okay for me, but probably would look suboptimal on other settings besides default.

Thanks!

Jason
