Hi All, Noticed little extra movement in the tower area, on further investigation found this…. Anyone deal with this? Is there a way to fix it stronger, better? Thanks!25D03753-B728-4749-A2AF-40C8BD28B24C.jpeg8AFB5077-B69C-4A40-A30A-B02BD8267508.jpeg

Typically due to vibration... Ive seen the "coating" on these frames allow water/rust occasionally to occur. This with vibration could be the reason. Probably nothing you specifically did.

It just needs to be welded, maybe add a few supports.

(If you go to a legit fab or race car shop, It will LAST and you will like the way it looks & performs. If you go down to your local ""I can weld your trailer up for you with my 900AMP ARC welder"" , the results will 'vary'... LOL

Pictures are for reference.. Some simple MIG, if your able, find a good TIG (TIG is not necessary, just cleaner and could get more strength in a smaller space)

Is it just me or do those support tabs (for the cylindrical piece) look a bit bent/compressed.
Was your S10 involved in some sort of front impact that was higher up like around the headlight housing?

Yes Sir, You get what You pay for, now I got to find a quality welder, just FYI, i live in low rust state, it had to be vibrations that caused this, If You ride off road lots, might be good idea to check for any stress cracks , Guys!
