Actually Calgary has at least 12 S10s that I know of. Could be more now. Met a few more at Greg the Pole's garage nites. Its always nice to bump into new S10 riders and exchange ideas and embellish the truth a little. ::001::

Hey, Towboatcrisco!
I'm still waiting for my garage to warm up a bit so I can install my heated grips! I can only dream of riding for now...we have to wait a little longer up here than you do in the LMD :(!!
I plan on taking a trip through the Kootenays and the Duffey Lake loop in June. No other S-10 riders in my area that I know of.

Nice to hear from you guys ! Terrace , yah you have a lil while to wait for nicer weather . I work up in Kitimat occasionally, lots of nice local roads to explore up there . Last May/June I did a fairly big ride thru the Kootenay's down thru Eastern Washington , Idaho , and Montana found a Great Grin factor road on the east side of glacier national park( think it was "49" took it off # 2 and connected with 89 was small twisty and not too busy ) . . I'll keep my eyes open for the Washington riders as they seem to be the closest at the moment. Anybody done the Re Flash ? It's my next farkle!! did the Clutch Mod last season , but from doing some research the flash is a better way to go .

12 S10's in the Calgary area .. that's sounds like a lot of potential garage day's especially this time of year.

here's a lil remembrance of warmer times ;)

Hi Again Crisco: There seems to be very few S10's in the Lower Mainland or if there are some, they are quiet types not inclined to yap on line! I, too, am interested in ECU Flash but have not yet taken the leap. Have you looked into ECU Unleashed offered by Synmoto in Richmond? i tried to contact them and they never replied. I then contacted ECU Unreased in the USA and they suggested I just send it to them and they would do the flash and send it back. i have not taken the leap yet.

Synmoto are muppets. I tried to get a hold of them twice. No response. I'll keep my money.
do yourself a favor. Balance the TB's first, and do the clutch switch mod. if you still need more power, do the flash. You guys at sea level are spoiled. Our performance suffers at 3500 feet, even then, it's still a riot to ride.

True that!
After running around in the mountains for a month (rarely below 7000'), I now realize if you grew up in Colorado, you might not have any idea how much faster every vehicle you ever owned really is. :)

Sea level makes a huge difference. Down here, OEM is much faster than hopped up mountain machines.

Good Day. Chris here in snowy Victoria. New Tenere owner just itching to get out and break it in. Looking forward to hooking up with some fellow S10 owners in the near future at some of the planned events.

Cheers, Chris

Welcome Chris, and I'm sure if Rem wasn't in some sort of hibernation due to the cold and snow he would be reminding you to post up in the members intro. In the mean time until the snow leaves, you can warm up that charge card as the spending has just begun. ::013::
