I'm about 6 2 (186cm). When I sit on the bike, My foot wants to rest below the brake pedal, requiring me to lift my foot off the footpeg when using the rear brake. I adjusted it (using the screw) but when I get it to a lower angle, the cruise control won't engage. I adjust it back to where the CC engages and it's too high. My thought was to remove the pedal and have someone cut and weld the pedal so it sits a bit lower. Any one have this same issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

Welcome to my world at 6’4” 35” inseam…..I am used to it and rarely use the rear brake pedal as the brakes are linked when using the front brake. I did adjust mine down a bit which still allows use of the cruise control. You might change brake tips with one from Hammerhead.

After adjusting your brake pedal height, you will also have to adjust the brake switch for the rear brake. Your cruise control won't engage because your brake light is probably on.

Do what @Squibb says, the only right way.

Regards.

Just drop the pedal to where it's comfortable & then adjust the brake light switch mechanism to match ..... simple.

Allow a little slack as otherwise, when the rear suspension moves significantly out on the road it will click off the CC.
Simple it is. I didn't think to check the brake switch. It must have been an off day for me. haha. thanks

I found out the hard way. The brake pedal was lowered just before Winter set in a few years ago so when I rode the bike in Spring it took a bit of head scratching to work out why the CC wasn't working!
