Anyone have any suggestions for brake pads? Looks like I am going to have to change them soon, so I figure I might as well order them. I usually go with EBC .

Thanks

Like Scott, I replaced mine with EBC pads and had mixed results... rear pads almost doubled the lifespan and in front, I experienced close to half the life of the stockers. I'm at 23K miles and the stock front pads look great. Rear pads were changed at 22K and had maybe 1mm of pad remaining.

EBC HH pads front, genuine pads rear.

The rear disc seems to be softer than the front and wears quicker with HH pads, hence Yamaha pads suggested.

No noticeable front disc wear in the 12k miles the HH pads were in for.

All just in my experience and opinion.

I too will stick with OE; ain't broke, not going to fix it. I've had problems with EBC in the past on the Honda. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with EBC. Whatever the pad material was, was not compatible with the rotor material.
