Once you buy it, it will cost you sleep and $$$$$$$$$this is robbing me of sleep. everytime I roll over in bed I am thinking about bmw gs motorcycles ..... haven't spent a penny and its costing me sleep.
Get a quote for the insurance and for the tags. Then for an aftermarket warranty. Those quotes may slow your roll a bit.this is robbing me of sleep. everytime I roll over in bed I am thinking about bmw gs motorcycles ..... haven't spent a penny and its costing me sleep.
They use the same system on the 1200GS and GSA. That's what's on the wife's '16 GSA. It's a little hard to adjust while moving, and kinda shaky, but a nice set up for one hand adjusting and certainly quick and easy to crank on at a stop. Was on a ride out in Colorado last week and one of the riders was riding a 1250 GS, I was really impressed with BMW’s idea for adjustable windshield, just one very simple to turn nob and the windshield adjusted very nicely while riding or standing still, I couldn’t believe how nice it worked !
Long distance and long days are a form of exercise so without build-up to a fast 2438 miles, you probably would have the pains on any bike.I beat the crap out of my tenere on the white rim trail in moab last Friday... dont think I missed a rock the whole way.... my line was what ever was in front of me I ran it down , 2438 miles for the trip , some battle damage (I can park at starbucks with pride now ) burnt out rear brake ….. think I could leave tomorrow and do another 2000 no sweat. but..... my neck , or that spot between the shoulders is still screaming and really that discomfort (eating advil like m&m's ) really took away from the trip ….. ive done risers ,seats ,all the prescribed things ,still a knife in the neck after some time...… if a gsa 1250 would fix that I would be in.... now if thye choice was tenere or GSA on the WRT , tenere for me . she never let me down ….. may have to trailer her as I am tired of the discomfort.
Just curious when you on pavement and cruise how much of the time do you relax riding one handed or just finger tips? How much moving around?but..... my neck , or that spot between the shoulders is still screaming and really that discomfort (eating advil like m&m's ) really took away from the trip ….. ive done risers ,seats ,all the prescribed things ,still a knife in the neck after some time...….
