This is Brad that lead us to that spot on the mountain where Snert will never forget.

I was just about to tell Snert how good he was riding when just up the hill and around the corner is where he went down.

This is after I went and chased everyone down and said "we have a broken leg" I need to start working out, I really struggled to get the bike up enough for Snert to get out from under it.
That's what happens when you get as old as the hills like me. I'm probably old enough to be Snert's grandpa.

And my last picture is on our way home Tim found a way to cool off.

Thanks' to everyone that helped put this rally on and everyone that showed up, Hope to see everyone next year and meet some new friends then.

PS
Don't believe a thing you hear about me doing wheelies or passing campers at 100 MPH in a no passing zone, There is no evidence to back them up. It was all photoshopped.

Steve.

Well I rolled into Abercrombie late yesterday afternoon, just in time to unload the dirty old Tenere and race off riding it to Fargo to introduce 24 new riders to the world we love. Most will likely never become the type of motorcycle enthusiasts I just spent the last 5 days with. I can only hope that a few of the several hundred riders we train in Fargo every summer will grow to become the type sport touring, adventure touring, and Dual sport riders I love to hang out and ride with.

You guys are the type of 1%er of the motorcycle community that I crave to hang out and ride with. Thanks to everyone that showed up and special thanks to those local Black Hills experts that volunteered to guide out of state riders to the SD treasure trove of great Black Hills riding opportunities.

I also want to thank those that took out their cameras and took some pictures. They really help save the memories for those of us that fail to pull out our phones or cameras. By the way, when is the next Tenere Rally? I'm ready to do it again. eemsreno, your going to have to get to work conning the next unsuspecting victim into organizing the next Super Tenere Rally. ;)

Steve on the first day trail ride. He is the normal photographer.

Deciding who wants to play chicken with a Bison.

Top of the hill scenic overlook

Snack break on fresh raspberries

Lunch in Keystone

Cluecheck's head on Mt Rushmore

Cluecheck's lube job. Nothing like doing some repair with 30 supervisors looking on!

One more traffic jam

Talked to a Harley couple on the way home. They said they never saw a single Buffalo!

Super Tenere owners evidently saw a bunch of them, judging from the photos. Probably professional courtesy or a family thing, the bison thought they were related to the Super Ts.
