I have a Silver and my brother a Blue one. In South Africa only these 2 coulors where available ( 2010 ). He jumped the gun and got the blue first.

So I've got a silver one and find it extremely practical. That's because almost any amount of dirt or dust turns invisible on it, as well as scratches on the tank (beware, the lacquer is quite sensible!). I had a black one as replacement bike once and you could count every grain of dust on it. So anybody who likes to clean his bike a lot will be happy with the raven. Blue is better (but not as good as silver) in this respect, but then again almost every S10 you see around here is blue, so as the individualist who I am, I'm happy with silver. I've never seen a whitey in the wild yet...

I'll be going for one in Blue with maize stripes from Wasp. It will feel right at home here in Michigan! GO BLUE!

Black, originally ordered blue seeing it was a Yamaha. Wife and son talked me into black and after seeing them both side by side yesterday - I think they were right! Personally, the blue is too light a shade for me, but they are both very sparkly paint jobs that I did not expect from only seeing pictures.

Just put a down payment down on a black one, although I like the blue better. But I plan on it being the color of dirt....

I wanted Competition White but the vendor told me it has to be ordered since YMF (Yamaha Motors France) had no stock in this color. My second choice was Viper Blue so I went for this color even if I find the european version not as sexy as the NA one.

Gents: I've got a dilemma..

I've been waiting on my Tenere' for months like many of you and I kind of like the blue but haven't seen either color in person. I can have the black Tenere' shipped NOW... or wait 3 more weeks for a blue Tenere'. Like I said, I've been waiting for a while already.. and I'm ready to go.

What do you think? Anybody seen them both in person?

I have a black, and there is a blue on at the local dealer. They are both gorgeous. If I had to wait three weeks on either one, I'd take the one I could have now. I can't imagine you will be disappointed in either one. Besides, if it turns out you are, paint is fairly cheap. But you wont' be disappointed in either one. R
