Re: Black and Blue

Well at the point of this post we're at ~ 50/50 black to blue. That's good .... as much as I love black bikes I'm glad to have had the choice of the blue ..... it looks great in the flesh.

Re: Black and Blue

I evened the poll up again, I ordered my Blue one on 10/16 while I was in Texas...I decided since I have an 08 FJR (Black) and an 05 YFZ (Blue), that the Black and Blue Super Ten would slot in nicely between the two 8)

Re: Black and Blue

Mine is blue. My Strom is black and I like the colour. I sat there at the dealer and went back and forth on which I wanted. In the end, I went for blue, but I still really like black. If I could get a black one sooner, I'd go for it. 8)

Re: Black and Blue

well Jakeboy, it looks like since there won't be one available sooner, you are stuck with Blue!! I have stated here earlier that i am not a fan of neither black nor blue, where blue is worse than black. The more i look at the Euro spec Blue and Silver, the more it appeals to me.
I am just figuring ways to add some real color with the Yamaha factory scallop look to the bike. I just need to decide the red to match OEM red decal, or the Yellow which Yamaha was famous for in the 70's and 80's.

My favorite color is ORANGE!!!

Re: Black and Blue

Blue for sure. After having black cages for years I have sworn off that color. Shows every scratch and paint flaw. Then again I suppose the S10 should be covered in dirt, mud and other detritus so color really shouldn't matter :D

Re: Black and Blue

I agree, Even though my current VSTROM is Black and I have ordered a Raven, it will get dirty and show the dirt very easily, as well as scratches.

Re: Black and Blue

These stat's are interesting .... although I had thought that black would have been the dominant colour.

Re: Black, Blue or Silver

Well, I figure the Impact Blue has almost as much black as blue (what with the sidepanels, seat and all), so between my pure dirt YFZ-450 (quad, all blue) and my pure street 08 FJR (black and silver), so the Super Ten slots right in both color wise and purpose wise between my two other Yamahas ;D
