That's a really good deal. Just got the bill for my 2020 Super Tenere and it's $956CAD through TD/Security National for full coverage with $2M liability. It is listed as a commuter vehicle (instead of pleasure/touring) and it does include replacement value - if that makes any difference. My 2013 VStrom was $498 and my wife pays $395 for her little used 2016 CB500XA.
Hey, help me out here. I'm insured with Wawanesa via a broker in Kitchener Ontario and last year my Tenere cost me $930. and the renewal for this year is $1,030. for the year!! WTF??
Who is your insurance agent? Can you deal with Wawanesa directly??
M LICENSE, NO TICKETS, NO CLAIMS, NO ACCIDENTS.

Hmm...that's comparable to me. I was quoted by Wawa and it was about $50 less than my existing with Cooperators @ $950ish. I stuck with coop b/c we have everything with them and felt changing wasn't worth the effort for savings. It's just darn expensive here!

Indeed, you can only be glad you don't live in Ontario. When I think of the insurance on my £2,000 electric bike at https://sundaysinsurance.co.uk/bicycle-insurance for a monthly payment of £9, I honestly feel sorry for you. I probably wouldn't want to ride a bike if I did. And don't you have any movement or discussion on this situation? In my opinion, it's just a rip-off. If the world is expected to sell over 130 million electric bikes by 2023, there's no telling what percentage Ontario's insurers will have.
