Picked up my S10 today. A big shout out to 'keeponriding' and 'justbob' for their advice and help. Also thanks to all the members here and the great info. I know I'll be back often!
Ready for the ride home from I-75 Yamaha in Richmond, KY. Mitch the owner made it a painless transaction...
My wr meets his 'little', ahem... 'younger' bro...
Rode the 100 miles or so home in light rain/drizzle. A few observations - See what you guys mean about the seat slant. Also had to adjust the clutch lever in all the way, felt like I needed a hook to pull it in. Have the tall OEM screen set at the highest position and I directs the wind blast right on my helmet. I could barely hear the engine because of the roar with plugs in. I'm 6'4" so either it's too high or I need a Laminar lip or something. Really love just bliping the throttle and passing semi's. Quite a change from my KLR.
Now, lets see...crashbars, heated grips, fusebox....
