Picked up my S10 today. A big shout out to 'keeponriding' and 'justbob' for their advice and help. Also thanks to all the members here and the great info. I know I'll be back often!

Ready for the ride home from I-75 Yamaha in Richmond, KY. Mitch the owner made it a painless transaction...

My wr meets his 'little', ahem... 'younger' bro...

Rode the 100 miles or so home in light rain/drizzle. A few observations - See what you guys mean about the seat slant. Also had to adjust the clutch lever in all the way, felt like I needed a hook to pull it in. Have the tall OEM screen set at the highest position and I directs the wind blast right on my helmet. I could barely hear the engine because of the roar with plugs in. I'm 6'4" so either it's too high or I need a Laminar lip or something. Really love just bliping the throttle and passing semi's. Quite a change from my KLR.

Now, lets see...crashbars, heated grips, fusebox....

Congrats Mark! Excellent contrast in bikes imo. I’ll always have a place in my garage for a 250…even thought the current one is green. :)

Lookin' good Mark, Congrats !!
Mine needs a good bath now, although the last 350 miles in and out of the rain yesterday did get most of the road bugs off.

Thanks Bob - Was talking with John today. He says you can really ride that S10. Still getting my sea legs but think it's going to be a real winner once I sweak a few things.

Nice....so, Louisville now has three STs.

We ought to put together a street gang for the next Bike Night.
