Rem, it has always been a pleasure talking with you. Hope you truly enjoy the new ride and your new 2-up status. Be safe out there and thanks for all the fun banter over the years. I've really enjoyed it.

Same here, Dad ..... thanks to you all for your comments. Hope to see each and every one of you up here some day. You're always welcome. R

Rem,

Don't run off just because you bought a new bike, stick around for the entertainment!

Gunner, you old road dog, you. How's that shoulder? All good ??? Taped up with Tuck Tape ??? Hope you're doing well and will be back in the saddle again soon. Having a lovely extended fall up here. Did a nice little 125 km today. Might be the last run for this year, though. Better see you up here next year. All the best. R

Rem, the shoulder is healing fine and should be 100% next Spring. I'm working on getting back up there soon. Stay warm.

Hey Rem
Will that Wing make it to Tuktoyaktuk next summer?

Jim, you old phantom, you ...... good to hear from you. We took a shot at Inuvik this year but were turned back due to fires. Sadly, my gravel travel days appear to be over. The Old Bear (my lovely wife) will be my new touring companion and I'm quite happy about that. Go figure We'll be heading for points south from here on out I reckon. It's been a great ride with the Tenere but my aging carcass is demanding new and more civilized routes.

It's great to hear from you. You're always welcome at the Ritarosa (Chateau Remo). Don't be passing through Whitehorse without stopping by. R

The plan is to take on the new road next summer, will certainly plan on a visit. Wife, riding partner a good thing!
Take care of those old bones. Followed Doug on FB about your adventure.

Best wishes, rem. It won't be the same here without you. Have fun with that 'wing!

Nothing posted to the Honda USA site under "Touring".

There were a bunch of "leaks" articles about it a few weeks ago.

There is a great deal of surmise but seemingly very little fact. I've seen some pics of the "dash" but not much else. The big rumour is the option of an automatic transmission. I bet it's going to be an expensive boy ... well, it already is. But the new price tag could be really rude. It will be a few more months yet before we know, I think. R

As I get older, I'm more apt to go lighter and simpler, compared to our TBDBITW. You guys are getting BIGGER!

That could be referred to as "more efficient". And I agree. If that is a new 'Wing, it LOOKS like it's maybe a smaller fairing. Would that mean less weather protection or the same with less bulk? Of course it is only a "maybe" picture. Either way, I'm sticking with my Tenere. ::001::
