Curious as to which LED lamps people are using these days. I haven’t bought them in a while and am unfamiliar with where things are at currently and what fits our 10’s.

The ones being replaced are Novsights which have been great, but their output has diminished considerably. They’re under Deftoner covers.

Tried another brand who’s name I don’t recall that had multiple emitters on the tip rather than the opposing 2 on the Novsights, but the included H7 flange disc could not be made to seat w/o the lamp rocking unacceptably.

Anyhow, it’d be great to hear what you’re using and hopefully the success you're having with them.

I gave up on LEDs and went HID. Not the cheapest solution but way more even light output without the strange patterns.

Good to know, thanks. I'm committed to keeping things on the simpler side and prefer a plugin solution and LED's throw enough light for my use. There's a 6" rigid industries spot/flood in the void for increased breadth of coverage.

I bought some Spark series bulb from ODX and they fit with the stock cover. They may be not as bright as other brands but I have a set of Denali D4s for more light.

My first set was the very expensive Cyclops, about $150 for the pair including the extended covers, they worked decent but one of them didn’t even last 10,000 miles. So I bought a set of the much less expensive Novasight that many members claim work great, well for me the Novasights weren’t worth crap they looked bright but actually worked worse than the stock H7 bulbs. Bought another set of Cyclops installed one brandnew Cyclops and one of the old leftover Cyclops, the new bulb is slightly brighter than the old bulb but I have put over 12,000 miles on them and there still both working. For some unknown reason my 2018 doesn’t keep burning out headlight bulbs like my 2013 did.
I also have a set of the orange Denali lights installed on the front crashbars.

I got some 360° LEDs and they took out the weird dark spots I was experiencing with flat blade style LEDs.

they’re here:
Light Moses H7 LED Headlight Bulb 360-Degree Light Source Elite 6,000K Sky White 10,000lm Super Bright 70W High Low beam https://a.co/d/9LFQOoM

I liked them so much I ended up using the same brand for my car- still working fantastically well in both

How'd those H7 flanges seat for you? I tried a set (not yours) of circumferentially tipped lights and couldn't get them to seat well enough to leave in.

Thanks, I may try a pair soon. Really like the idea of the light distribution. Gen wouldn't matter.
Used to swap halogens out a couple times a year or so and it just took a few seconds. In my experience LED's have been more finicky to seat.

Yeah they seem to be. there seems to be a sweet spot for the center of the beam on the horizontal plane, like back-and-forth and I adjusted them just by pulling or pushing the cooling unit to get the best light distribution

Looking at getting different bulbs for my 2016 Gen 2 and looking at the “Light Moses H7 LED Headlight Bulb 360-Degree Light Source Elite” mentioned in this post. shift_enter, When fitting them did you have to use the extended large bulb caps also or did they just fit in the OEM ones ?
