The S10 specific set does not come with the correct inner bracket for these bars.
I had to order a different specific inner bracket set for the BarkBusters.
When I get home from work today I can post up the part-number that I ordered

In addition to the BarkBusters kit for the S10, you'll need to get part number: BTC-06

The problem now is availability. I can find the s10 kit, or a tapered bar kit. No btc06 by itself.

That kit in your link looks like it has universal Bar-Inserts that expand when you tighten them.
I guess it depends on the inside diameter of the Protaper Bar, and if you already tapped threads for the factory S10 bar-end weights?
I went the long way round with this. I had already tapped threads in the ends of the ProTaper Bar cause I originally installed them with the factory S10 hand-guards.
Farther down the road I wanted more protection in case of a get-off, so I bought the S10 BarkBuster kit for 2014-up thinking it would probably fit the ProTaper Bars as well.
It didn't...................as much as I tried the inner brackets would not fit on correctly, so I was forced into sourcing the inner "Tapered-Bar" bracket-kit.
I also wanted to keep some sort of bar-end weights, as they help to absorb some vibrations in the bars.
The S10 kit comes with them. The universal kit in your link does not.............................you possibly might be able to add them?

I finally found sourcing for the taper clamps at Motocross Giant, and the s10 kit at Accessories International.
