Yeah I did post my report on here somewhere. Have a look. I put the power graph up as well. Result was just under 100 bhp at the back wheel (98 I think) and much more low down grunt with smoother throttle response.

My oldest kid's R6 is the same way. It makes next to nothing under 8k. But, the 16k red line is a marvel to me. That's a whole lot of moving going on without flying apart. And, if my throttle is restricted in the lower rpms in "S". . . . I'm glad. . . . I'd hurt myself. Still hard to believe, as quick as she responds though.
Just had my tenere flashed and it removed all s mode restrictions. So s mode is 1:1 now everywhere.

I have to admit that s mode is now a true sport mode and is extremely fun for aggressive riding but sucks rocks in stop and go. Its far too powerful off the line even with a good wrist.

However: T mode is now identical to s mode but with a nice smooth ramp from 1000-2500 that lets you feather the throttle instead of the clutch at parking lot speeds, and its totally unrestricted above 50% throttle, so t mode gives you full power when you need it. Its absolutely perfect now for daily riding and off road fun, with S mode in reserve for canyon runs or slaying mountain passes.

This really is how the bike should have been from day one.

The tuner I took mine too adjust the initial throttle from 1.0 to 0.1 in S mode and it fixed what you are describing. Still sporty but that initial throttle position change takes that snappy initial throttle response away.

I put more miles on today in both modes and its growing on me? I may make a slight adjustment in the spring

What Ronzo said. AND, T mode is much more passive and is perfect for off-road or stop/go traffic. There is a substantial difference between S and T mode.

I've got a AVC flash and a PCV. If I had it to do over. I'd pass on the PCV. Ain't worth the $$ for me. My gen1 was so jerky off idle. Going through rough ruts and rocks would wear me out clutching it. After flashing. I can go through the same places now and not be NEAR as tired. Before I got mine flashed. It wouldn't pull a 2nd gear power wheelie. YMMV

So the question in the title of this thread still has not been answered. It would be interesting to see if anybody has bothered to do this.

Agreed, the topic went in a lot of interesting directions but the original question remains.
