Hi all, I'm just trying to sort some aux lights to fit on the bars. Seems everyone has them so someone must have a good answer.
While looking I keep finding ones from denali and givi that cost £200+ and identical looking ones from china that cost between £10 and £40. So I'm not going to spend hundreds but I want to know if anyone can recommend some that are aerodynamic spotlamp style, and either have a simple 1 and only function, or can work in unison in the same mode high or low beam.
I had a nightmare before with some that had a high/low and strobe function. I couldn't get them to both do the same function at the same time, and I have no need for strobe.
Any pointers much appreciated.

My bike has the Yamaha crash bars. I used the bolts on those to fasten the lamps on. Not perfect but it will do until I get some suitable clips. I have mine wired through a 3 way switched power supply I cobbled together with a switch on the handlebars for the lights.

Hmmm, there's a lot of lights and Handlebar switches on Amazon and Ebay.
Don't buy the cheapest, but read the FULL description.
Read what the lumens (brightness) are as this varies. Some are spot lights some are flood lights and some are a combination of spot and flood.
In any event, use a relay to wire your lights. You don't want immediate battery voltage going directly to the switch.
A fused lead off the red or positive terminal to # 30 on the relay. Then from the relay to the on off switch then onto the lights.
Relays are inexpensive, but always use an inline fuse for any item/service added to your bike.
