So, I have a 2015 ES with Rumbux crash bars and I'm wanting to add auxiliary lighting both to increase my nighttime lighting and my daylight visibility without spending a whole lot of money. I've done quite a bit of reading on here and I've picked out the following products.

I'd like at least one set of the lights to be on with my headlights all the time, possibly dimmed with low beams and full strength on high beams. I'd like to also be able to switch them off manually. What else do I need to buy, and what is the best way to wire them up?

I would suggest you get the PIAA mounts for the spot/flood driving lights. They adjust on both axis making it easy to get them focused where you want them. The Nilight bracket will work fine if you have a straight bar location.

I have my lightbar and my fog lights hooked up to individual switches on the handlebar and I usually have both on 24/7 so I did not wire them to the high/low beam switch. The lightbar is set up so that I can adjust the aim up or down without loosening the brackets. I wired my lights into an Eastern Beaver PC-8 fuse box.

Be aware of local rules re lights and when and how they can be on. Here daytime running light are for daytime use and off when head lights are on. Fog lights are on when headlights are on but must be off in normal visibility. Driving lights must have a separate switch but controlled by high beam switch..........

Funny, I actually bought almost all of these items recently. I bought the 6inch lightbar instead and could not mount it, I even tried the 6" rigid mount. I'm not sure how you guys are mounting it exactly, but read that it should mount right under the headlights. I couldnt' get a solution that fit and don't have tools to fabricate my own mount.

I used the Nilight for the crash bars. I looked at the PIAA, and that extra adjustment might be nice but its twice the price. I'm not super happy with the Fog lights as they are more like flood lights and not spot lights. WIth other traffic, they are basically useless as I am not looking to blind other drivers. The wiring harness is super long. I have it tied into my eastern beaver, and the extra takes up the entire stock toolkit space (I may try to cut it down later). If I were to do it again, I would get true spot lights for the crash bars, and after some experience now maybe try and build my own relay/switch. I also want to switch to a handlebar switch style, but cannot find a 3 way relay that mounts to the handlebar that looks like a light switch. There is a 2 position rubber one I may try.

Can someone answer if the 8" lightbar mounts directly under the headlight besides the $400 BAJA light? I should be able to get similar results out of one of the $20-$30 lightbars if I can get it mounted properly. Can someone take a picture of their mounting bracke specifically.

In the land downunder, where everything from Wombats, Koala's, emus's, kangaroo's, wild horses, cattle, and camels, comes out at night to play, having excellent night time vision is essential.
I went for Cyclops LED headlight bulb replacement, 10" Aurora LED light bar, and a set of Denali D4 Tri optics with data dimmer controller.

I can now spot those crazy want to be pillions from at least 1,000m down the road at night.

I love this set up.
