Hi.
Buying Givi s310 lights and have read there is an aux connector on the bike.
Believe you can buy the female end for this connector , there is a red, black and brown wire attached, do i attach the wires at the end of the light harness to this,ie battery connections and spare " switched wire"
Not very electrical minded but any help would be appreciated... GG

Quite a few threads here in the Electrical sub forum about aux light wiring, including where to order the pins, which is all you really need. Both halves of the connector come installed on the bike.

A search on Light Wiring here should get you to the threads with the info...

Have you ever tried using the search function here? If you can even find anything relevant, good luck actually getting to it. Nobody set up the new forum software to handle the old links. Even if you find the thread you need via google, you have to hope there's a cached view of it. Clicking on it gets you get redirected to the front page. It was a botched merging and then someone was just like "whatever, good enough."

The staff could use a bump in pay to better serve. I know what you are saying but this is the most helpful motorcycle forum I have ever encountered. I only feel humbled by some of the members capabilities.

Well said!
True, but check the dates before hitting reply. ;) This thread popped to the top due to a spammer, whom's posts have since been deleted. (I hit the report tab early this morning)

...and my "well said" reply was a humorous retort to the now deleted spammer's posts (which I too reported early in the AM), not a latent reply to 2tall's post of almost 10 months ago. ;)
