Australian Compliance Plate Location

I recently purchased another S10 to replace my aging 2010 model with 325,000km.
I am having troubles registering my my bike as I purchased it from another state and it must now be inspected. During the inspection they found the VIN and engine numbers but could not located the compliance plate. I was hoping someone might know the location of this plate.

its more a sticker. This is my EU model btw.

Thanks for your prompt reply Stefan, that is the sticker/plate that I am looking for but not located where yours is. I have attached the sticker that is located where yours is.
I am still looking.

You may find this helpful. Yamaha AU - How to read your VIN. You gents talk funny. VIN number is redundant. Vehicle Identification Number number? The link shows common locations on Yamaha AU vehicles to look for data plates.

Edit - There is also a 'Contact Us Today' link there if you still can't find it. Yamaha AU can probably tell you where to look for what you need.

Try looking from the front between left fork and radiator. You can see mine in the photo here. This is a 2015 but an Oz version.
