Hi Guys, I am totally new to this bike. My son has been pressuring me to buy an adventure bike so here I am. So far, I like the bike alot. I want to change the pipe and I like the Arrow full system. Can anyone talk me out of this? I realize I will need a reflash/tune. Or is a slip on good enough? Thoughts?

Welcome to the group! Question: Do you really want to be talked out of purchasing the Arrow? ;)

You could always start with a slip-on and see if that makes you happy and then do a flash when you start feeling unhappy and then add the header and a PC and your happiness will return for good like it did for me. 20170822_191030.jpg

Arrow slip-on was on mine when I bought it.

Can't comment on performance but the (slightly) throatier note to the exhaust is pleasant compare to a standard bike.

You'll get a nice boost of power with just the Arrow collectors without adding much noise. My Akra silencer and Arrow headers are working quite well running the Stock mapping. but a flash is coming just to optimize what I have.

Or....for much cheaper you can just remove the cat from the stock headers and achieve the same result as the arrow headers. If you are going to do this then definitely get an aftermarket muffler.

Yes! But...I’m not a rich man but I like to tell myself that time is money!
I’m pretty sure that the amount of time involved in cutting, swearing, rewelding and polishing the headers is by far superior than the cost of the Arrow header. In my humble opinion. But then there’s the fun factor of doing it...different story !
