Don’t get me wrong. I’m interested as soon as warranty is over. It’s sort of a power bomb copy. I hate cats on motorcycles. They’re a mere drop in the bucket for environmental BS.

Bazzaz makes a piggyback unit that some folks here installed and liked the results . If going that route I'd probably get Power commander V .

Akra sure looks nice and sounds nice too , but Anthony that does ECU re-flashes mentioned that there's not much gain with Akra .

because it gives such good results by itself. At least for me it did.

I cut my cat out last month and added a 14 inch Delkevic at the same time.
Cut it with my portaband on the existing weld and re welded it back together with my old Lincoln 170 mig
I immediately noticed the engine ran much smoother and spun up quicker than before
Not too loud but I get noticed commuting now.
I also had my ecu remapped 4 years ago. Seems to be running a little lean in sport mode but has a bunch more power.
I will be sending my ecu back to Anthony beginning of November to be tweaked a little
I would do it again in a second

My lil' contribution to the thread (2011 model) :

- I've tried stock header with Akra muffler : Better response in low RPM
- I've tried Arrow header with Akra muffler : Better response in mid and high RPM, but lose in low RPM.

Both with OTR ECU remap and PCV with correct map installed.
