Hey everyone,

Great site. Long story short I have a 2019 S10 that I keep at a buddy's house 3500 miles away because I ride it out in Western Canada every summer and thats the only use it gets. The bike is stored for the winter and I have purchased an Arrow header with ECM flashed by 2Wheel Dynoworks out of Washington and throwing it all together in the spring.

QUESTION: will the Akropovic slip on I currently have installed get a bit louder? I am really HOPING it does because believe it or not......as well built as it is....... its as quiet as stock and Im looking for a bit more grunt. Hopefully the Arrow with the tune will louden it up but hey.....if not, I still get a respectable HP gain so win/win. I considered selling the Akropovic and putting something else on but then its really just wasted money. I'll just keep it.

Thanks in advance.

It will slightly with the ARROW headers... If you want more sound, take out the Akrapovic baffles... That is a nice sounding combo of parts IMOP.

Probably behind these rivets and under the carbon cover. There are probably step by step on You-Tube... .

I have this set up and its not much louder than the stock cannon...
Heres a KTM Akro looks similar to ours getting baffles out just like how Tabasco described

Not sure about years and what fits what but I know the arrow fits no prob with a SW Motech skid plate. That's on a 2019. Not sure that helps.

I sure hope so. I really dont want to gut the exhaust and probably wouldn't. I'd be really happy with extra sound and horsepower but if I don't get extra sound I'll still be happy with horsepower

Maybe a bit louder, but much more of a rumble. I have the Arrow headers with my stock can and it improved the sound substantially, IMO, so I assume you'll have a similar result. I think your "wait and see (or hear)" is a wise choice.

I have a full arrow system with stock skid plate that came on the ES. If you have a skid plate the Dynamat Mod works a treat. Less tinny sounding.

HI Sir,
So will I still able to install n use? Or I need alot of mod in order to install it?without link pipe will I able to ride with?

Thank you
The link pipe is the one between the 2 pipes coming out of the cylinder head on the exhaust headers. They got rid of it on the 2014 on. The Arrows will fit both models.
