Hello

I recently placed an order for the full arrow exhaust system for my 2013 super tenere. My question is, do I have to replace the stock air filter with an aftermarket one? or the stock air filter will work just fine?

Thank you

Stock will work fine.... But you might consider a PCV and possibly auto tune to dial up some fuel....

The UNI filters are great, and do provide filter and Perfomance difference only when the bike is heavily modified.. Its basically the last thing... Of course, you can add them anytime you like, wont hurt..

ok great. I have already completed the ecu flash and will have it retune once the exhaust system is installed.

In my opinion, and 10 years Tenere experience, you wont be able to get the "flash" dialed into the 'more fuel' needed unless they do countless DYNO pulls. Anyone that tells you they will "flash" you in more fuel for your mods is being a bit disingenuous. With some flash providers they are actually changing the timing in the 6 Tenere modes. They do tweak the fuel but not nearly enough. We have found that with the PCV that you can really dial in the fuel for what you / your bike / the 'fuel grade' / other mods you might have or get in the future. If you begin to go down this road make sure your 'flash' provider can manipulate the closed loop or able to turn it off. If you go with a piggy back fuel device you need the closed loop turned off so it's not fighting the factory closed loop.
LUCKY for you that you have a 2013....... Go into your dash settings and turn UP you're CO settings, this will also help you.
