A few new pics received today of the driveshaft boot guard...the top mount is not fastened to show material thickness in the last pic.

I should have more pics of the final drive guard loaded up tonight and will post them up as soon as I can. Any questions, please PM or email me at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com.

Thanks!

A little delayed, but here are some shots of the final drive guard. This thing looks hella beefy and is probably a little cheaper than replacing your final drive housing. ;) I will have all the products listed up on the site by tomorrow and will hyperlink the pictures to the respective product pages. Any questions, please feel free to PM, email, or call the shop!

Hi guys - the products are now up on the website for pre-order, and I've linked all the pictures to the appropriate product pages. I have shipments from DSBP arriving the week of the 11th and the week of the 18th, so should have them in stock fairly soon.

Thanks!

The driveshaft boot guard and the water pump guard in both anodized black and anodized silver have arrived from Spain and they look GREAT. The final drive guard will be arriving in a subsequent shipment, but I can ship the other guards immediately.

Any questions, please let me know....thanks!

Hey Eric....for now, just the left side. I would not be surprised to see a matching replacement guard for the right side rear brake master cylinder come available in the very near future (i.e. a few weeks). ;)

On another note....we got the DSBP final drive guards in at the shop in New York last night. Holy hell, these things are nukeproof! It's a well-designed and well-made piece that will do a great job protecting your Super Tenere's final drive, and at a fraction of the cost of competitive products. We have 10 in black anodized and 2 in silver anodized ready to ship immediately. One or two in black anodized got very minor marks in shipping (honestly, nothing that can't be covered up with a black Sharpie marker and may not even be seen when mounted) so I will take $10 off of those if interested.

Thanks!

The rear master cylinder guards have arrived from Spain! Made of 3mm aluminum, it provides some useful protection for the rear master cylinder to protect it from damage in case of a fall. We have 8 in stock right now in anodized black and 2 in anodized silver, as well as good stock of the matching driveshaft boot guard and water pump guard. You can click on the pictures below to be linked to the product page at ADV Motorrad.

Please email me at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com or PM me here with any questions.

Thanks!

 Crap...that sucks. At least all it grabbed was a cooling fin instead of a chunk of the housing. If you're still interested in completing the "full meal deal", I've got a few left in black. ;)

I've also got another new product en route from Spain next week, and am working on some YST Forum specific deals....more to follow shortly!

Hey oilfield - I've got the older (2010-2011) service manual that states 30 ft/lbs for the acorn nuts that attach the final drive to the swingarm, and 90 ft/lbs for the axle nut. You may want to bounce those numbers off your dealer based on the year of your bike to make sure they haven't changed. No specs for attaching the guard to the brackets - just snug it down well.

Thanks!

Do some years or models not come with the brake master cylinder and u-joint guards? My 2015 ES is already equipped with these from the factory. They seem sturdy enough.

The problem with the factory guards is not their strength, it is their propensity for catching your pant leg when you are trying to get your feet down when coming to a stop....

Everything bolted up pretty straight forward. It could've been made a bit clearer that the washers under the acorn nuts needed to be removed. Also, mounting the plate to mounts required a little force to overcome the powdercoat on the threads. Also, I'm not crazy about the decal, but I was too lazy to remove it.
