Which ever way you decide to go, a side stand enlarger is worth the money. The S10 is not very stable on the side stand. I was always afraid it was going to fall on it's side for no reason at all. I bought an Altrider enlarger second hand from a guy here on the forum and it really made a big difference. Whatever you do, get one.

My altrider foot is a little loose and the screws are as tight as they will go. Screws are seized and won't budge.

Not sure if the 2nd Gen is the same but I always found my 2013 had too much lean with the stock sidestand. So much I never liked using it and almost always used the centre stand.

$1.50 and now it is perfect. Perfect length/size, Rarely use centerstand anymore.

How Canadian is that, eh? Plus if a game breaks out you are all set to go!

Got one on eBay, via China. The enlarger is a perfect fit, but the securing plate doesn't conform to the kickstand and the screws are too short.
I'm thinking about glueing the enlarger to the kickstand and wanted the forums take on an adhesive that would be up to the job.
Thanks.

I must be the only one who doesn't have any issues or concerns about the side stand. I don't think it leans over too much, it isn't unstable and seems to be just as good as any other bike I have owned. If I were to add a larger foot I would just weld it on.

I totally agree. But, don't forget, the Gen II is aluminum, so welding could be more difficult. I usually just grab whatever is close by to put under the "foot". Haven't had any problems yet.

I picked up #1 but yet to install. The part looks to well built and from pictures looks to be a good fit on the aluminum side stand. It’s going to be a busy day of wrenching with oil changes and the last mods to bolt on the first warm day.

Bought a Bigfoot meant for Gen2 for my Gen1 from online stores. An example of it here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-YAMAHA-XT-1200-ZE-XT1200ZE-SUPER-TENERE-2014-2018-kickstand-sidestand-stand-extension-enlarger-pad/32954479093.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.23.506f68566ucijE&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_1_10065_10068_10890_319_10546_10059_10884_317_10548_10887_10696_321_322_10084_453_10083_454_10103_10618_10307_537_536,searchweb201603_80,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=a0af367f-6527-43bf-a119-5d5d921ff4ad-3&algo_pvid=a0af367f-6527-43bf-a119-5d5d921ff4ad

But I bought one that is local to my country.

Need to cut off a section of the top plate for fit. Arrow show where the cut occurs. Also, the Gen1 feet is thinner than Gen2, and this would leave it loose when the bolts are applied. Use a 1mm plastic sheet or Aluminum or whatever that works as a spacer to sandwich between the 2 plates.

I went for the hockey puck too after reading about it on here. Works really well and doesn’t cost much at all. Glued with a drop or two of Gorilla Glue and 2 stainless steel self-tappers.
