I don't know about the brand(s), but there are several members that use bead covers. I always wondered if it leaves marks in your butt after riding on one all day. :D

I've got one of the fancy "new" ceramic ones. I like it. Firms up the stock seat nicely and improved long rides. I also like it on my Corbin seat, but haven't used that in a while. I have no idea how it would compare to an AirHawk pad, but I'm good with it for now.

No post-ride butt marks.

Just ordered a set. I think next thing is taking the seat to get reshaped a little to not move towards the tank

Before you do that, try the seat mod that flattens the seat and keeps you from sliding forward. Use the search box. There's even a thread with pictures. It's simple and costs almost nothing.

I put the seat i the high position is that different then the flat seat mod?
High position, but you put the tongue of the seat under the lower position tab at the back. This is easiest and cheapest. I've also done the "change the bumpers" thing, which works, too, but I find the basic "high seat, low tongue" option the best.

Stryker,
I have the ceramic bead seat cover from Beadrider and have used it for five years or so (On my cruiser touring bike). I’m from Canada but have used it on trips to Utah, Texas, Arizona etc. so I have many miles on it. Originally I bought it after a big trip in 2016 that was over 100 degrees (115 was common) for nearly the entire 23 days and my ass was soaked on the bike. So I got it to keep my butt dry and it certainly does that. It also allows to move around a bit and change the pressure points which adds a good amount of riding time between needing a butt break. On a cold day you’ll feel the wind. It makes my seat much more comfortable. I highly recommend trying them.
Cons: when it’s really hot (100+) it seems like the ceramic beads heat up so I’d be tempted to try the wood ones if I were to do it again. The beads lift you up a bit and the ceramic ones are a bit slippery so you’ll feel less planted in the saddle, a little disconnected from the bike.
Hope that helps.

I’ve been using a beaded seat cover for about 15 years. My S10 has the flat seat mod and the beaded seat cover for a comfortable ride.
