Anyone install Yamaha Sides Cases on 2014ES

I just trades my 13 for a 2014ES and I stated installing my side cases tonight. There are a few things different with the 14. Has anybody else installed the cases on this model ? It is very hard to get at one of the foot peg bracket bolts on the right side, there is bracket on the inside of the foot peg bracket to hold the shock reservoir that has to be removed and installed on top of the case bracket, the left foot peg bracket has a heat shield that I believe you have to leave off. I am going to contact Yamaha tomorrow to see if there are new instructions for this model. :question:

Just fitted OEM Panniers - as you said - was a bit tricky on the right hand side but seemed to go on okay (was a bit nervous about cables etc. - very tight fit). Regarding the heat shield, had to be taken off as far as I could see. Interested if you have any info from Yamaha.

Just installed mine. Would it kill them to include those stupid tamper proof torx bits?

I'm interested as well. I spoke with yamaha dealer and they told me it "should" fit and that the part numbers are the same for '13 to '14.

Anyone know for sure? I'm between those and the givi trekker 33L but givi doesn't have it listed for 2014 yet.

As we don't have a need for hard luggage I have looked at the possibility of purchasing some of these for my 2014 ZE (ES) model.

After contacting the supplier about the fit of these bags onto a 2014 model I have been informed that as yet they cannot confirm if they will fit or not and that I should keep an eye on their website to check for updates

Being a 'soft' bag may mean that they will fit the 2014 model although I suspect that the smaller supporting frames may prove to be a problem to fit.
