Hello to all, the other day while looking my bike over before a ride I found this tiny plug laying on the engine case near the clutch slave body.

Does anyone recognize this little rubber plug? I am attaching a photo for comparison with a .22 caliber slug.

Thanks in advance for any assistance the group has to offer.364A0E08-CE7D-43A6-9AC9-4B7A76649EA8.jpegAD4ED904-8D07-4C64-8C45-3E81B95A14FB.jpeg364A0E08-CE7D-43A6-9AC9-4B7A76649EA8.jpeg

Well, it seems that there are two of us with the same problem. A few days ago, I changed the air filter and spark plugs, after assembling everything and starting to put away the tools, I found this plug, lying on the floor ... I started looking everywhere (without disassembling the filter box) ... without find where it came from, but i’m sure that this plugs belongs to the bike
But in your particular case, the red color I don't remember seeing it on the S10… maybe some accessory

I'm with Jlq, red is pretty unusual. I haven't been to far into the bike, but I would think that if Yamaha used a red plug, it's probably important, and you would remember seeing it. Now, his black plug? That's gonna be a little more difficult.

I’ve not seen the red before, but wonder if it’s coming from the ABS box ?

The red one I haven't seen, but that black one looks like a bumper plug (as I think of them). Rubbing block if you will, that a body panel would rest against.

Part #16 on this fiche, maybe?

I'll check it out tomorrow. Here it is 23 pm. we are in winter .. My wife just told me "are you coming to bed?" ... if I tell her to wait until I am going to remove the side panel of the motorcycle ... I risk sleeping in the truck ... ... so I will wait until morning:):)

The black one is a bumper pad that goes on the inside of the to, rear corner of the left and right faring/side panels. It stops the faring contracting the tank. See photos; Looking down between the tank and side panel. Don’t know what the red one is.
