Hi guys,

Right at the moment i ride all weather with my SHOEI ADVENTURE helmet, a few trips over the years in europe mid summer riding 8-10 hours days the full face gets a pain in the hot weather all day.
Now i have never had a modular helmet with the chin piece up in the air and actually over hear its illegal to ride like this anyway, a few years back i bought a SHARK EVO flip lid loved the way in the heat you can have the jaw all the way back over the lid and ride with sun visor down plus the full visor down as well, the fresh air around your face is brilliant,
the problem was i bought a large in this shark and it hurt, tight so sold it on and bought a xl in it but after a while same, hurt my forehead so sold that but was gutted i loved the lid, now for the hot weather i,d still like a helmet that has the drop down sun visor and a full visor that drops over that but without the chin piece.

saw one of these NOLAN N70-2 GT helmets just what i was looking for in a way, full face with drop down visor but can remove the chin guard, now after having many expensive helmets just thinking will this be any good

OR any other opinions of good 3/4 jet style helmets with sun visor

thoughts guys

rob

A lot or helmet manufacturers have replaceable pads. And, most have variable sized pads. Maybe switch out pads to get a "custom fit".

Oh. Over the years, I've just learned to ignore the heat, and sweat. And, to wash the liner, and pads often.

yes up till now thats what i,ve always done but after wearing a SHARK EVO with the jaw line at the back of the lid and just the sunvisor in front off you on a hot day the cool air all around your face is great, so i,m going to use the shoei adv at home but try and get a 3/4 jet helmet for trips into europe

I love my Shoei Neotec 2 and its legal to ride with it open. I tried an Evoline but I couldn't get a good fit. Flipped open the medium was great but too tight when closed but the large was too loose when open. I'm sure a Nolan owner will be along shortly!
