looks like his shock has about 50k on it... that's about as old as my shock.
Well, maybe someone will reply that upgraded their shock at an early point and has their stocker to sell. I just remembered seeing this when I saw your post.

I have one advertised in the For Sale section - Bits and Bobs part 3
Could probably do it for approx $150 shipped to US.
Let me know if you are interested and I will investigate shipping costs a bit more.

Regards
Andrew

Yes it is OEM Gen 1 shock.
In my advert I guessed that it was replaced with a Wilbers shock at approx 15k mls. I got it wrong.
I have dug through my box of receipts for my old bike and come up with the following:
Shock changed on 18 Nov 2015.
The bikes first MOT ( UK test for vehicles 3 years old) was carried out on 22 May 2017 with a recorded mileage of 12768 mls.
So shock must have been changed at approx 8k miles having been on the bike for 19 months.
Hope all that makes sense.
I have attached docs to substantiate.

I just upgraded my non-ES 2015. Has 20K on shock. Will a 2nd Gen shock fit a 2012?
Some expert on here will know, but.i often check compatability by looking up part numbers for the two years on Partzilla and seeing if they are the same.
