Evening all, joing the ranks so hi from Kent in the UK.

Test rode the new Super Tenere a few weeks back, am now waiting to see if the Black colour will be released in UK for 2011, fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed that Black will be in the 2011 UK line up. The only other minor thing that botherd me when I test rode was the throttle cable that obsures some of the instruments, poor design....guess someone will come up with a solution though.

If the cables obscures some of the instruments it is because all the brackets were not installed correctly by the dealer. I have got perfect vision of my instruments on my ST with two small brackets that routes the cables out of the way.

The bike I rode was supplied by Yamaha as it was a bike they were taking around to dealers so people could get some test rides in, guess that could have been put together by whatever dealer it started out with though.

Just thinking , how tall are you Gileam, I'm about 5"10.

I am 6"1, but that should not make a difference. The bracket that bolts onto the handlebar might be the one that was missing in your case. The other bracket sits lower down and it is just an "eye" bracket where the cables run through. Great bike though - you can place your order!

Planning on getting one in the new year, main thing is waiting to see of the Black is released in the UK.
