The paint on my Altrider crash bars started peeling off bad around the headers too. Looks like a bad batch maybe. Glad they’re stainless.

Paint or powder om Stainless is challenging. The thing that make SS great (Cr, Ni) make it hard to get good adhesion. If you ever have to do it abrasive blast to at least a 25 micron profile then immediately coat. If you are using a force cure like powder, add 50% to your cure time

can i ask if you don,t mind, how much it it cost to send a large box with crash bars in from the UK to Canada WHO DID YOU USE

Sorry for the late response.
Compared options using parcel2go website.
I used ParcelForce, it was £77 (including £10 insurance) for the box 48x43x27cm 6.7kg. Great service from ParcelForce, highly recommend.
