I'm selling set of ALT Rider crash bars for Yamaha XT1200Z/ZE in new condition.

They are one of the best bars on the market for the Super Ten and are far more robust and higher quality than others out there.

Freshly powdercoated in satin black, the coating was previously flaking in a few areas due to not having a good key on shiny metal.
The bars have been shot blasted before re-coating so now they're better than new.

All fittings and instructions included. Spec as follows:
- 1 inch diameter tubing for strength
- Stainless Steel T-304 construction
- Beautifully hand TIG welded
- Impact load distributed across six points
- Access for right-hand side panel removal
- Compatible with Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z Gen1, Gen2 and ZE (electronic suspension).
- Compatible with World-Crosser Kit (once OEM frame guards are removed)

£170

Hi Rob,
Nothing. I didn't use them.

Bought them second hand on eBay when I was planning to buy new S10. Please see my intro here. Didn't want to ride the new bike home from Yamaha dealer without bars.
But then i test-rode Honda Crosstourer DCT and liked it more due to automatic transmission and much lower price. So changed my mind and cancelled the order for the new Super Tenere.
I was keeping those accessories for Super Tenere in my garage, thinking that maybe i don't like Crosstourer and decide to change it to Super Tenere in few months. But no, still like my bike, so decided to sell the bars for Tenere. The same story is with the Yamaha sump guard i'm selling in a separate thread.

The bars i'm selling are really strong, high quality and very expensive when new. I must say, previous owner whom i bought it from, did a great job by powder-coating them, so the bars indeed looks like new, only "AltRider" sticker is missing. The bars have not been installed/used after powdercoating and look new. All fixing and manual included.

I wish i could have those bars for my Crosstourer, unfortunately AltRider don't produce crash-bars for my bike...

Thanks.

The paint on my Altrider crash bars started peeling off bad around the headers too. Looks like a bad batch maybe. Glad they’re stainless.

Hi Rob,
I'm not on the Facebook. Have sold the crash-bars and updated the topic of this thread.
Would you be able to update that post in Facebook as well?
Many thanks in advance.
