About to order some Alt Rider crash bars for my new S10. I was hoping someone that has them installed could measure the width of the bars, installed on the bike. I need to see if the width will allow me to get it into through my barn door where I store the bike. Thank you in advance!

Handle bars are a bigger issue than crash bars. She can be ridden through a standard walk-thru door with a little turning and leaning. Although I wouldn't want to do it on a daily basis.

Thank you! I agree @Sierra1 but I can tilt the bike some and turn the bars. The width is my limit, but 30-31 will work!

You are not wrong. I usually ride without them. And since I have the OE style, they come off quickly/easily.
Almost wish I'd kept my oem panniers instead of selling them and getting the Jesse Bags. So much easier to remove/install and with the limited space I have in my garage for the bike (lucky to have any at all since the wife hates motors) I have to remove them every time I park the bike. The Jesses aren't terribly bad, just not as easy.

Trying very hard to bite my tongue and mind my own business.....
Yeah, I know. It's a side effect of the years she treated unlucky riders in the hospital where she worked. I've tried to convince her I'm a lucky rider (I did totally destroy a bike in 1968 10 years before we met and walked away with bruises and a cracked helmet, which is why I won't ride across the street without one).
