Alt Rider crash bars - pre-drop - who has them?

This weekend my bike was treated to its second 0 mph drop onto the left side. After that I noticed the left Alt Rider bar sure looks awful close to the bike. The bar closest to my left knee is not even a finger width away from the bike.

I looked around at other bikes with Alt Rider and the ones that had a similar distance also had a rider that told me his bike had a previous left side drop. The one that had a wider distance was Jaxon's bike, and he explained to me how in the past he's pulled bars apart. So I'm not sure his pre-2014 bike was a good comparison for my 2015.

So the question for anyone with untested Alt Rider crash bars on a 2014 or later bike - what is closest distance between the bars and the bike near your left knee? Can you easily slide a finger between the two?

Jaxon told me how to fix it. I just need to know if I have something to fix.

My 2014 has 3/4" of clearance on the left side between the bar and plastic at the closest point.

I'd say my closes point is about 9/16" between closest plastic and bar.

Doesn't look like enough to worry about making any changes.

Thanks, guys.
