Hey thats Black Bear, I know that view. They were blasting on it while we were in Ouray. What did you think of the steps.
Didn't care for the steps too much. The Tenere just doesn't have enough ground clearance. I had to walk it down and the skid plate was still hitting on almost every ledge.

Just found a picture I really like of going up Imogene Pass.

This is actually so steep that my bike is stuck here and I couldn't take off until we rolled it back down to the left on harder ground.

Great shot.
My hat is off to all you guys that did Imogene and other passes as tough on the Tenere and most of all the ones that did it 2-up. World class. ::008::

Killer pic Steve.

And yes Bruce, those Masters of the Tenere have no idea how inspiring they were to me. Not often, at my age, can something get me so "wicked up"!

I had so much fun. It took 10 years off my age. (Temporarily, of course)

Took me a loooong time to finish that adventure. A month of Rockies. :)

Who makes that trailer?

It was a pleasure meeting you in Ouray :)
Sorry, just was going through the pics again and saw your post! It WAS (keyword, was) made by Northern Tool. Inlaws got it for me/us, but it wasn't up to the task. Had to pull the bike off east of Denver and slab the bike while the wife towed the trailer empty back home. We returned it and got our money back.

The design's there, just can't handle the S10 - they stamped the GVWR wrong. I'd get one of the Kenda designed trailers, although twice the price, if folding is a requirement.

Ya I did. Except not through Nebraska. It's like Kansas, only 2x worse.

(Says a guy from Iowa) ;)

So tell the truth, did you go jeep speed?

Or did she catch up every time you refueled?

I stayed a hundred yards or so behind the jeep the entire time. Truth. Wife didn't like not seeing or feeling the trailer, so I did what I had to.

Two of the three welds on each fender broke and zip ties/jb wouldn't hold. One taillight was held on by a single bolt from that destruction. The passenger side torsion axle had some serious negative camber going on and both c rated tires that i upgraded from b rated myself were almost bald by the time we pulled in the driveway. To add insult to injury, 3 of the 4 nylock nuts holding the front wheel chock were gone. :S

I'll buy a beer for the person who guesses what country it came from :p

So in retrospect and after venting a little more after the return back to NT, maybe Nebraska isn't so bad...

Thanks for listening and yes jeeps go 0-60 in theory. But I love it.

I uploaded the raffle pictures that turned out. If you don't see yourself, but were positive my wife got a picture, you broke the camera.

Some of 'em were completely blurry.
