Tim, if they still made them, staintune, but they do not.

I'll let you have a go on mine if we meet up next week. I'll even bring the baffle just for you.

two years back I emailed them about the availability and they told me they were discontinued.
So I made my own.

Bought it in November on eBay. Ridersdiscount was the eBay member. I think they had 9 in stock when i bought it. That was with free shipping too.

Thanks but no one on Amazon even shows a fit for 2014. Tried that too. Can anyone verify if 2014 is different than a 2013? I know 2 brothers shows a completely different system on their site for 2014's. (about twice the money too)

Ended up buying the Akrapovic. Just did not want to have to pay attention to a future re-pack and listen to the tone change over time. I bought it on eBay with free shipping and no sales tax (would have been $72.75). Ordered it late on 4/6/2015 and received (UPS) it 4:30pm on 4/8/2015.

Thanks for ALL the information this generated. Hopefully this information will help others decide what to buy.

Note to self... Don't get bored while the Tenere is in the shop for 2+ months.

Also bought a new Arai Signet-Q helmet and a replacement door for the ADV Motorrad toolbox. Bought a winter windshield just before the CCT failed. Rode with it one time. I will re-install the summer windshield when I get the Tenere back.

Need new boots and pants.

Are you sure you never have a to repack it? Akrapovic show a part number for a repack kit on their schematic drawing.

Steve thanks for the information. I did not check their webpage and went off what others said. I have not heard of anyone repacking their Akrapovic but not everything is reported.

Are we related (head shape)? ;)

The Signet-Q is the only good fit for me. I have tried other helmet on and they just do not fit well. Purchased my first -Q at the end of 2011 and have changed the pads more than once. The visor is designed for bent over sport bike riders (racers) and provides too much light for me. I add (trimmed to fit) a piece of 2" 3M 764 Black Tape to reduce glare. This is not shiny sticky messy electrical tape. It has a matte finish and does not leave residue on the visor. 2" is not too much. I can see very well. The only restriction would be while climbing extreme tight twisties.

Another helmet that fit well was the "original" HJC Carbon helmet. Inexpensive, light, and fit well. The next generation was changed to fit the round heads :(

What does this have to do with Akrapovic and Yoshimura exhaust? Nothing... but I am bored. Missing my Tenere ::001::

The Yamaha part #'s are the same for the 2013 and 2014 muffler assembly (23P-14703-10-00), the exhaust system from the cylinder through the cat are different part #'s which makes sense since the 2014-2015 headers and cat are different.

Thanks Nick, I have seen others post on different threads that their exhaust transferred from their old bike. I just get nervous ordering something not specific to my model year. Here we are in 2015 and many sites still aren't up to speed on the 2014.
