I just picked up a 13’ and it came with an LED aftermarket light that is tied into the high beam light…. After checking things out, it seems that the factory lights do not work
Does anyone have a wiring diagram that show how it runs? I feel I have some budget wiring that I need to fix. When I picked the bike up, both the LED and factory high beam worked when you flipped the switch.
I need to buy a service manual… right?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I would first check the headlight bulbs. Do your lights work on low beam? Only difference between high and low is a shutter in the headlight assembly. Bulbs go out frequently.

You do realize the engine has to be running in order to turn power on to the headlights ? Just turning the key to the on position without the engine running will not turn on the headlights.

Sometimes you can tease the lights to come on just jogging the starter without the engine actually starting.

Thanks Jeff
I checked the head lights today and they work fine... So what I am uncovering here is that the previous owner had installed an LED Light bar and it is wired into the high beam off the switch. So I need to find out what the factory high beam wire looks like and see if they spliced in somewhere ?
